Sean Connery, the legendary actor who played the first James Bond on screen, died at the age of 90.

Connery’s wife said that her husband died when he was sleeping. The family was present beside him. The reasons for his death are yet to come out. However, age was a driving factor.

Sean Connery shot to fame in 1962 with the house first James Bond film “Dr. No”. This is the first bond film ever made. Ian Fleming, the writer the James bond series, wanted Cary Grant as James bond. He thought the character needed a particular style which Grant could deliver. Eventually, Sean Connery did the part. The creator Fleming was rather happy seeing the film and said that Connery was the perfect fit for James bond.
