Cake Boss Star Buddy Valastro impaled his hand while bowling

Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro faced a tragic bowling accident that damaged his hand. The accident happened when he was with his family in New Jersey. The family members were bowling at their private alley. Unfortunately, there was a malfunctioning bowling pinsetter, which led to the tragic condition.

You might already know that Valastro had his bakery called Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken. He is also an author of many cookbooks. The man has produced several TV shows like Cake Boss, Kitchen Boss, Bakers vs. Fakers, Cooks vs. Cons, Unpolished, and Bake It Like Buddy. Currently, the man is recovering from a terrible incident that happened to him last week.

Cake Boss Star Buddy Valastro injured his hand

Valastro sent out a post on Instagram on September 23. The photo was snapped while he was in the hospital bed, and there was a cast on his right arm. The post had a caption that suggests a terrible accident. He jokingly also called the cast his new accessory.

Later, the man posted an Instagram story saying that he is getting the best possible treatment. The dessert king went through two surgeries to remove the rod. He is currently recovering at his residence.

As per reports, Buddy Valastro was trying to release the bowling pin from the cage. But his right hand was lodged inside, and it got compressed in the unit. The man was not able to move his hand or remove the metal rod. It impaled the hand three times between the middle finger and ring finger.

Within a few minutes, Buddy’s two sons, Macro of 13 and Buddy Jr. of 16, bravely helped their father remove the rod by using a saw to cut it out. The man is currently taking therapy and recovering from the unfortunate injury at his home.
